This unique open bridgedeck cruiser-racer catamaran is just about completed by her builder designer Keith Nolan of LAFS Inc. Keith's experience as a top notch Prosail 40 sailor, and Olympic silver medallist in the Tornado class, have contributed plenty of technological know how to this extraordinary boat. It is therefore no surprise that Liquid Ocean Services Inc. of Florida Inc. have become famous for building high tech composite structures, such as carbon masts, rudders and daggerboards for performance sailboats.
Based on the hullshape of the legendary catamaran FURY, this 64' performance cat promises to be very fast. Low aerodynamic drag and narrow high aspect ratio hulls will often permit cruising at double digit speeds. Keith calculates that the boat will sail beyond the 30 knots barrier ! This exciting vessel will be equipped with a custom fabricated carbon mast, composite sails and top of the line hardware.
